Week 1: Finding Your Starting Point
Your first lesson is a friendly assessment, not a performance. Your instructor will listen to your natural range, talk through your goals and favorite styles, and introduce the foundation everything else is built on: posture and breath. You will sing, but nobody expects polish on day one.
Week 2: Breath Support and First Exercises
Singing is an athletic activity, and breath is the engine. Expect simple exercises that feel a little silly, lip trills, sirens, humming scales, that train your breath support and free up tension. Most students are surprised how quickly their sound opens up.
Week 3: Your First Song
By the third lesson you will be applying technique to real music, usually a song you chose with your instructor. This is where our both-worlds approach shows up: you will learn to follow the written melody and to trust your ear.
Week 4: Building Range and Confidence
A month in, most students can feel the difference: steadier pitch, longer phrases, and notes at the edge of their range starting to feel comfortable. Just as important, the nerves fade. Confidence is a skill, and it is trained exactly like breath support.

Am I too old to start? Is my child too young?
Adults progress faster than they expect thanks to focus and discipline. For kids, around age 7 or 8 is a great starting point, when vocal coordination and attention are ready.
Do I need any experience?
None. The entire first month is designed for true beginners.
