If your child has been asking to try music but a full private lesson feels like a big first step, this fall gives you an easier way in. Dreams Music Academy is now enrolling for small-group Saturday classes in Aubrey, starting Saturday, October 10. Here is what they are and who they are for.
What the Saturday Classes Are
Small-group classes meet once a week on Saturdays at our Aubrey studio. Kids learn alongside a handful of other students at a similar level, which keeps the energy high and the cost lower than one-on-one instruction. It is the same patient teaching our private students get, just in a setting built for making music together.
The Fall Lineup
Rhythm & Drums. High-energy group drumming that builds timing, coordination, and rhythm. Students learn to keep a groove and play together each week. The Saturday Drum Class is enrolling now: 60 minutes, 9 weeks, 8 seats, $199, and it starts Saturday, October 10.
Early Childhood Music. A playful introduction to rhythm, singing, and movement for our youngest students, built to grow attention spans and a love of music. This class is still forming, so join the waitlist to hear first.
Group Voice. Singing together, ear training, and the confidence that comes from performing as part of a group. This class is forming too, so join the waitlist.
Why Group Classes Work
Playing music with other people is motivating in a way solo practice rarely is. Kids show up because their friends are there, they hear themselves inside a bigger sound, and a little friendly momentum pushes everyone forward. A group is also a gentle place to build stage comfort before a first recital.
Who They Are Best For
Group classes are a great fit for first-time students, families testing whether music will stick before committing to private lessons, and kids who simply learn better around other people. Plenty of students do both, a group class for fun and community plus a private lesson for focused growth.
How to Enroll
The Saturday Drum Class starts Saturday, October 10, with just 8 seats, so spots are limited. Early Childhood Music and Group Voice are still forming, so you can join their waitlist. To reserve a place or ask which class fits your child, see our group classes or send us a note through the contact page. If you are still deciding between group and private instruction, we are happy to help you choose.
